4. Cookies

On our website we use cookies to make the visit to our website attractive and to allow the use of certain functions. The so-called "cookies" are small text files that your browser can store on your device (PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.). The process of setting a cookie file is also called "setting a cookie". Cookies do not damage your device, do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malicious software. In the cookie information is stored, each resulting in connection with the terminal used. However, this does not mean that we are immediately aware of your identity. You can set your own browser according to your wishes: you can define that you are informed about the setting of cookies, that you decide from case to case about the setting or that you accept or refuse all cookies.

The use of cookies on the one hand serves to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages on our website. These are automatically deleted after leaving our page.

In addition, to improve usability, we also use temporary cookies that are stored on your device for a specified period of time. If you visit our site again, it will automatically recognize that you have already been with us and what inputs and settings you have made, so you do not have to re-enter them.

On the other hand, we use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer. These cookies allow us to automatically recognize when you visit our site again that you have already been with us. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined time.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a note always appears before a new cookie is created. However, disabling cookies completely may mean that you can not use all features of our website.

5. Statistical evaluation of visits to this website

We collect, process and store the following data when calling up this website or individual files on the website: IP address, website from which the file was retrieved, name of the file, date and time of the call, amount of data transmitted and information of success (web log). We use this access data exclusively in non-personalized form for the continuous improvement of our website and for statistical purposes. With the tracking measures to be used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and the continuous optimization of our website. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you. These interests are to be regarded as justified within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.

In addition, we use the following plug-ins and active script content to evaluate visits to our websites:

* Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

To statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our website, we also use Google conversion tracking. Google Adwords sets a cookie on your computer if you have reached our website via a Google ad.

These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Adwords customer's website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Each Adwords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can not be tracked via the websites of Adwords customers. The information gathered using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Adwords customers hear the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users.

If you do not agree with the tracking, you can prevent the installation of cookies by a corresponding browser setting (deactivation). They will not be tracked during conversion tracking. Google's privacy policy on conversion tracking can be found here (https://services.google.com/sitestats/en.html) or here (https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en).

* Newsletter-Tracking:

Our newsletters can contain so-called pixel counts: these are embedded in HTML emails in the form of a miniature graphic to document whether and when an email has been opened and which email client type and which type of terminal has been used. It also shows if and when a link was clicked in an email. We collect this data anonymously - we do not know who opened an email or clicked on a link or who uses which email client or device. The data collected in a log file are only for the statistical evaluation of the success of an online marketing campaign and the optimization of shipping.
